Litigation Associate Attorney

Ruggeri Parks Weinberg LLP seeks a litigation associate with strong academic credentials and research and writing skills to join our firm.  Candidates should have 1-5 years of litigation experience.  Experience with insurance coverage issues is desirable but not required.  Candidates should be highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a collaborative team, and should have the ability to manage and prioritize significant projects on their own.  Responsibilities include:

  • Developing litigation strategy for disputes and performing key roles in insurance coverage, bankruptcy and commercial litigation and arbitration;

  • Conducting complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and drafting legal memoranda and position letters;

  • Drafting pleadings, briefs, written discovery, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents;

  • Participating in depositions, document reviews, hearings, and conferences; and

  • Analyzing insurance policies, drafting analyses of coverage issues, and providing coverage advice and recommendations for clients.

Litigation Paralegal

Ruggeri Parks Weinberg LLP seeks a litigation paralegal to provide support on a broad range of complex litigation matters for multiple attorneys. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and quickly, have excellent time-management and organizational skills, and the ability to work proactively to produce high-quality work product. Candidates must also possess strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and effectively prioritize and manage deadlines.

An undergraduate degree is required. Candidates must have technical experience in Microsoft Office Suite products. Familiarity with document management and e-discovery software a plus, but not required.
