Ruggeri Parks Weinberg LLP Expands to New Offices in San Francisco and Boston and Welcomes Two New Lateral Partners

March 11, 2025

Ruggeri Parks Weinberg LLP is excited to announce the opening of new offices in San Francisco, California and Boston, Massachusetts, further strengthening the firm’s national presence and expanding the availability of its services to key markets.

As part of this expansion, the firm welcomes Matthew J. Antonelli (San Francisco) and Michael S. Batson (Boston) as partners.

Managing Partner James P. Ruggeri explained the significance of the firm’s expansion and the additions of Antonelli and Batson:

When we opened our doors three years ago, our goal was to provide services to our clients nationally without creating conflicts so that we may serve them on either side of the litigation “v.” Expanding our footprint through the addition of Matt and Mike, both exceptional litigators with whom we have worked with and against over the years, enables us to further that goal. That Matt and Mike would decide to join us, shows me that we are building something worth building. We are excited to call them colleagues and welcome them to the team.

Antonelli joins the firm as a 13-year litigator who practices in the areas of insurance coverage and port and maritime law. He represents insurers in all manner of coverage-related disputes, including those concerning general liability, pollution liability, professional liability, and business interruption coverages.

Batson joins the firm as a 25-year litigator representing both insurers and policyholders, individuals and corporations in complex litigation matters. He practices in various areas, including civil, commercial and class action litigation, construction law, insurance coverage and defense, environmental law, complex tort and product liability law.
