Sara Hunkler’s practice focuses on representing insurance companies in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.  Sara has experience with first- and third-party insurance coverage disputes relating to various types of insurance coverage and claims, including commercial general liability (CGL), errors and omissions (E&O), business interruption, and bad faith claims. She currently represents clients in several disputes involving bad faith failure to settle, construction defect, and mass tort sexual abuse claims.

Sara also has experience representing corporations and partnerships in commercial disputes involving real estate development, international trade secret appropriation, trademark infringement and dilution, and bankruptcy adversary proceedings. She has represented clients on a pro bono basis in matters related to encumbrances on real estate and copyright infringement.

Sara previously served as a Civil Division law clerk for the United States Department of Justice and an associate at a boutique litigation firm in New York City.
